How to care for the selected product
I wanted to tell you about the care of mohair products.
First of all, they are very sensitive to care, because mohair wool is very soft and delicate. In order to preserve their beauty and quality, it is necessary to observe the following basic principles of care:
MOISTURE: Avoid exposure to high humidity and water as this can cause the wool to shrink or warp.
WASHING: Better to avoid frequent washing. If necessary, I recommend thorough and light hand washing with mild detergent and cool water. You can safely use hair shampoo and detergent! Do not rub or spin dry.
DRYING: Mohair products cannot be dried in direct sunlight or near heating devices. It is recommended to dry them in a horizontal position on a dry and flat surface.
IRONING: If ironing is required, it should be done on a low heat setting or lightly steamed.
STORAGE: Products are stored in a dry place. If you want, you can store them in a cloth bag. But, under no circumstances keep them on a hanger.
SOFTENING: If, however, the mohair product is stiff, stiff, it can be softened by placing it in cold salt water for a week to make it soft and supple again.
